Language Use in Porto-Novo and Cotonou, Benin (May 1, 2018)

Yet another essay from my languages in Africa university course. For this essay, we were prompted to analyze the language use in the cities of Porto-Novo and Cotonou, Benin. This prompt is similar to what I ended up researching in Bassila. However, for this essay we use existing research instead of gathering our own. It is common for individuals in Benin (and other parts of western Africa) to speak multiple languages.
