The Bittersweet End (July 26, 2016)

My first summer of university, I took a course about a topic in which I am quite interested. The course was specifically about soundtracks in regards to film, and how the music itself can sometimes be just as important as another other aspect of a movie. For one of my final essays in the course, I was to evaluate the music in a particular scene.

The assignment allowed me to select any scene of my choice. I decided to select the final scene from Stargate Universe. I had recently just finished a series marathon, and the impactful end was still fresh in my mind. This essay was my submission for the assignment.

Note: the attached pdf of this essay is exactly as it appears when it was submitted back in 2016. As such, there may be grammatical errors or generally poor writing technique present that has not been fixed.
